How to make

a Koko Kolada

Any excuse for cocktails right now.... If you aren't lucky enough to live near one of our 4 Turtle Bays that are open for collection and delivery, we feel ya. So here's the perfect recipe to make you smile!

It's none other than our long-time favourite, the Koko Kolada. Creamy, sweet but with a secret kick, it's amazing for a lazy Sunday afternoon when you just want to feel like you're at the beach. It also makes a great after dinner cocktail too...


  • Coconut flavoured rum - we use Koko Kanu. It's a tropical addition to this cocktail but also great to sip on ice for a sweet rummy treat
  • White or dark rum
  • Pineapple juice
  • Coconut milk - just from the tin is fine! Make sure you give it a good stir. If you don't have any you can swap this out for milk or cream.
  • Optional - coconut syrup


Makes 1 cocktail

  • Fill your glass with ice
  • Add 20ml of Coconut flavoured rum
  • Add 20ml of your choice of rum ( we like dark for its rich, caramelly flavour but white works too)
  • Add 50ml coconut milk
  • Top with 50ml of pineapple juice
  • If you have coconut syrup, add a dash now - it makes the cocktail a little bit sweeter and even more flavoursome
  • Give it a good stir and ENJOY!
